Varsha Bansal is an independent journalist based in Bangalore, India. She writes at the intersection of technology and people, human rights, gender, culture, and business. Her work has appeared in TIME magazine, WIRED, Slate, MIT Technology Review, The Caravan magazine, Rest of World, and Coda Story.

She is also one of the fellows at Pulizer Center’s AI Accountability Fellowship where she’s investigating about the use of AI in the gig work force.
