Darine Atwa joined the Small Arms Survey in March 2022 as the project assistant of the Security Assessment in North Africa (SANA) project. Prior to joining the Survey, she worked at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a Private Sector Partnerships Unit Support Officer, and before that she worked with several other organizations as the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC), the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Darine Atwa holds a Master of Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Designing Strategies and Projects in Humanitarian Action
